Lake Malawi is home to more than 700 species of cichlids, colorful small fish familiar to anyone with a freshwater aquarium, as most of the ones we find in North America originate from Lake Malawi or Tanganyika. PADI scuba diving and snorkeling reveal a cornucopia of colorful cichlids, while other watersport options include SUPs, kayaks, sailboats, waterskiing, wakeboarding and fishing.
